Convening a press conference earlier today, Ven. Pahiyangala Ananda Sagara Thero of the Surakimu Sri Lanka Organisation alleged that plans are afoot to construct a road through the flood plains national park.
He alleged that, this is the doing of State Minister Roshan Ranasinghe, adding that the road is being constructed to treach a quarry.
